The game

Learn a trade, make better equipment and head somewhere more dangerous. Wildercrown’s current Windows development build includes 15 skills, gathering, crafting, quests, equipment progression and dungeon combat.

The in-game stock market offers another route to progression: study charts, place orders and track shares in 50 fictional companies using in-game crowns.

The wider MMO in development

  • Over 500 dungeons and 1,000 bosses across the planned full game, with coordinated 50-player PvE raids.
  • Underground Mines: planned expeditions for groups of 10 exploring for valuable resources and treasure.
  • Large-scale PvP, alliances and kingdom wars over territory.
  • AI-powered NPCs designed to remember players between visits.
  • Large cities, player housing, pets, mounts and early motorcars.
  • After launch, most proposed new features are intended to require at least 66% approval in a player vote.

These are plans for the full MMO. The development screenshots below show the current Windows prototype.

Wildercrown starts with a familiar ambition: learn a trade, make better equipment and head somewhere more dangerous. Its Windows prototype includes 15 skills, gathering, crafting, quests and dungeon combat. An in-game stock market adds another route through that world: players can study charts, place orders and manage a portfolio of shares in 50 fictional companies using in-game crowns.

The new trailer follows an adventurer from the city streets toward the team’s plans for a shared online world. Planned features include player housing, pets, mounts, early motorcars, AI-powered NPC conversations with persistent memory, kingdom warfare and cooperative raids for 50 players. A separate Underground Mines mode is planned for groups of 10 exploring for valuable resources and treasure.

After launch, Talk Alice Labs intends to put most proposed features to a player vote, with at least 66% approval required to proceed. The Kickstarter campaign will support finishing the game’s development. Fans can follow its pre-launch page to receive the launch notification.
